Stuff Dad told me... One of the first things I remember my Dad said was "To keep safe, Look both ways before crossing the road." Thank you Dad. My Dad, Glen, said about himself, "I'm not perfect." That endeared me to him, and helped me accept my own flaws easier. Thanks Dad. My Dad said it's better to keep optimistic. I value that gift he gave to me of optimism. My dad has consistently been a good listener. That is a gift to listen. People love to know they are being heard. I remember Dad telling me people like to hear a "Thank You". It's so simple and true. Show gratitude. Thank you, Dad. "Treat others the way you want to be treated." Thanks Dad. Dad told me: "Life is too short to keep oneself in a depressing or abusive atmosphere. Make a change." Dad says it's good to show some honor to ones parents, grandparents, and greatparents, and on and on. My dad said you might have the greatest idea or product in the world, but if no one knows about it, that's not good. Marketing is crucial. I remember Dad told me sometimes we don't know why we do bad things. We sometimes don't do the good things that we want to do. - Romans 7:18,19. Dad told me: "Don't throw darts up in the air." Unfortunately my dart came down into my cousin's leg. Ouch. Sorry Greg! I love you and miss you Dad. Casandra
