Glen Easterling, off duty Los Angeles County Fire department captain, was seriously injured in this spectacular Saturday night accident at 47th St. E. and Palmdale Blvd. Easterling, eastbound at the time, lost control of his dune buggy, on the sharp curve at that point. Both he and the vehicle engine were thrown from the buggy which rolled at least three times. Easterling was reported in fair condition at Swan Memorial Hospital.
